  From Charlotte\Douglas Int'l Airport
Leave terminal on Airport Freeway Road, go straight at traffic light. Get in left lane to exit for Billy Graham Parkway North to I-85. Stay in right lane on Billy Graham Parkway through two traffic lights. Turn right onto I-85N, toward Concord. Go 11.2 miles to Exit 45a (Harris Blvd East). Go half a mile to UNC Charlotte\Hwy 29. Turn left on 29. The new entrance to UNC Charlotte is the first right after the 2nd light. The Bioinformatics Building is the brick building on the left just inside the new entrance.

From north of Charlotte via I-85
Take exit 45A (Harris Blvd East). Merge onto Harris. Go half a mile to UNC Charlotte\Hwy 29. Turn left on 29. The new entrance to UNC Charlotte is the first right after the 2nd light. The Bioinformatics Building is the brick building on the left just inside the new entrance.

From north of Charlotte via I-77
Take exit 18 (Harris Blvd). Turn left (East) onto Harris and go about 7 miles to reach UNC Charlotte\Hwy 29. Turn left on 29. The new entrance to UNC Charlotte is the first right after the 2nd light. The Bioinformatics Building is the brick building on the left just inside the new entrance.

From south of Charlotte via I-85
Take Exit 45a (Harris Blvd East). Go half a mile to UNC Charlotte\Hwy 29. Turn left on 29. The new entrance to UNC Charlotte is the first right after the 2nd light. The Bioinformatics Building is the brick building on the left just inside the new entrance.

From south of Charlotte via I-77
Take I-77 North to I-85 North. Take I-85 North for about 5.5 miles to reach Exit 45A (Harris Blvd East) then follow above directions "From south of Charlotte via I-85".

From east of Charlotte via US 74
Turn right onto Harris Blvd and travel about 9.5 miles to UNC Charlotte\Hwy 29 exit. Turn right on 29. The new entrance to UNC Charlotte is the first right after the 2nd light. The Bioinformatics Building is the brick building on the left just inside the new entrance.

From Concord area via US 29
From Concord, travel south on HWY 29. Nearing the campus you’ll cross Mallard Creek Church Rd. At the next light (about half a mile) turn left into the new HWY 29 UNC Charlotte entrance. The Bioinformatics Building is the brick building on the left just inside the new entrance.

Parking
Visitors that have not been told otherwise, will need to park in the metered spots in lot 23. 
Lot 23 is the L-shaped parking lot encompassing Rec Fields 8 & 9. 
Otherwise, official visitor parking lots are found in Union Deck, Cone Deck 2, and East Deck 1.
